Be sure to inform us of both the first class you will be unable to attend and the first class you plan to return so we can record your absences and/or adjust the due date of your fees accordingly.

Please provide as much notice as possible before you take a break from training.

If you miss any class without notifying us beforehand you will NOT be credited a catch up for that class. If the class you miss is a catch up it will be forfeited.

BREAKS OF LESS THAN ONE WEEK

If you miss less than one week of training you may catch up on the missed class/es in any other currently running class which has room for more students. Such missed class never expire but cannot be used to extend the due date of fees. Many students like the flexibility of having some extra classes in hand so they can train more often while revising for a grading or when they have more free time during holidays.

Click HERE or on the "Missed Classes" Link above to see how many spare classes you have owing.

BREAKS OF ONE WEEK OR MORE

If you wish, you may simply add missed classes to be the total which may be caught up in later classes, as above. The due date of your fees will not change.

Or, if you prefer, for each full week of training you miss, one full week (7 days) will be added to the due date of your fees. However, if you miss any classes without providing any advance notice, you will not be able to extend the due date of your fees but will have to catch up those classes, as above.

Partial Weeks Off

This applies to students training 2+ times a week who miss part of a week in addition to one or more full weeks off.

At the start of your break

A number of days will be added to your due date, starting from the date of the first class missed (i.e. not the date of the last class attended)

e.g. Bob normally trains Monday & Thursday. He trains Monday as usual but then goes on holiday – 4 days will be added to his due date for the partial week missed (i.e. Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun)

At the end of your break

A number of days will be added to your due date, starting from the first day of the week up to but not including the day training is resumed.

e.g. Bob resumes training on a Thursday, missing his Monday class – 3 days are added to his due date (i.e. Mon, Tues, Wed)

If you take two partial weeks off without any additional weeks off in between, and they total to 7 days or more, then this can be added to your due date. If it totals to less than 7 days, you will have to catch up the missed classes instead.

(For the purposes of this policy, a “week” starts on Monday and ends on Sunday.)
