  • I had always had an interest in martial arts, and I thought it was time I give it a go. There is a big difference between learning and copying Wing Chun. At Hornsby, you get a sound foundation in the true principles of the art which sends you on a path to discover your full potential. Wing Chun Rocks!!!
  • I have improved posture, realistic self-defence skills, and an overall feeling of relaxation.

  • Having looked into the pros and cons of a number of martial arts, I decided that Wing Chun was, for me, the most effective. This was because of the practical nature of the art which is based on simple principles and techniques that can be effective in real life situations - even for beginners.

  • I had never really done any martial arts before. When I hurt my knee playing soccer I decided to look for something a bit different that may be less taxing on my knee. Wing Chun offered a chance to try something a bit different and provide some exercise.
  • The biggest thing I have learned is being able to move in different ways. I feel that I have greater control over the movements of my body. It’s also good to know that I now have a basic level of self defence, something I didn’t have before starting training

  • The smaller classes are more engaging and fascinating. Instructor Mark has a comprehensive understanding of Wing Chun and generates a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for learning.

  • Wing Chun is fun and much more relaxing than homework. I guess it’s a good stress reliever. I’m also more coordinated and I think my posture has improved.

Troy

  • I was a couch potato for quite some time and decided to explore life off that couch. Amazing what things can be found there.
  • I’m more relaxed in everyday life and have improved coordination and posture.

  • Wing Chun is suitable for shorter people who are not very strong and has given me increased confidence and co-ordination.
