Syllabus
As a proud affiliate of the International Wing Chun Academy, Hornsby Wing Chun Academy uses the same curriculum and grading structure.
The minimums listed for each grade are the absolute minimum time and attendance required before being able to attempt the next grading. This does not mean every student will be ready to grade at this time. It is highly recommended that students spend much more time and classes in each grade in order to develop a better foundation.

Trainee Instructors
Once a student reaches grade 3 they are able to become a Si-Hing (male) or Si-Je (female). This entails completing a course at the International Wing Chun Academy to become a trainee instructor. It is through teaching that students gain deeper understanding as they are constantly revising the basics and are challenged to analyse the system through questions asked by students under their instruction.
