Taking a Break

“Catch Ups”

If you ever have to miss a class, please let us know any time before the class starts (but the sooner the better) You will then be able to catch up that class in any other currently running class which has room for more students. You can see your tally of catch ups at the bottom of this page, and also on the timetable page. Catch ups never expire but cannot be used to extend the due date of fees.

Breaks of one week or more

If you wish to take a longer break from training you must give us at least 24 hours notice and we will put your fees on hold. If you give less than 24 hours notice, the first class you miss will be added as a catch up and your fees will go on hold starting from the second class you miss. If this means your break will effectively now be less than one week long you will not be able to put your fees on hold, and will be credited catch ups instead.

If you miss any class without notifying us beforehand you will not be credited a catch up for that class. If the class you miss is a catch up it will be forfeited.

When appropriate notice is given, fees will be put on hold, starting from the date of the first class you miss up until the day before you resume training (inclusive)

Example

Bob trains Mondays and Thursdays. His due date is the 14th of May.

He trains on Thursday the 1st of May, then takes a break not resuming until Thursday the 22nd (missing 5 classes)

His fees are put on hold, starting Monday the 5th (first class missed) until Wednesday the 21st (day before first class back) for a total of 17 days. His new due date will be the 31st of May.
