School Rules
- The Master is to be addressed as Sifu Jim and all teaching personnel as Instructor, Si-Hing or Si-Je. Respect is to be shown to all academy members.
- No alcohol or non-prescription drugs are to be consumed before or during class.
- The proper greeting is to be given when commencing and completing training.
- No training with an open wound - any wounds must be adequately covered.
- No jewellery, watches etc to be worn during class.
- Full uniform is required by grade 2.
- A photo and signature is required on your membership card before starting grade 2.
- No chewing gum, smoking or eating inside the class area.
- Be punctual and do not leave the class without speaking to an instructor first.
- Be considerate of our neighbours at all times. Once the class is over, leave the area quickly and quietly.

- To cultivate respect for the Art, the Academy and the Master.
- To show consideration and respect for other students and instructors.
- To use the skills only in self-defence, or the defence of others.
- To respect the laws and customs of the country.
- To strive to improve one’s character.
- To condemn the unnecessary use of violence and aggressive behaviour particularly by people who are training in or teaching a Martial Art.
- To respect members and Instructors of any legitimate Martial Arts school.
