For those who don't know, I recently got back in contact with Mark Spence earlier this year and he is currently my main instructor. He has been practicing wing chun kung fu since 1984 and has taught for more than 20 years. He runs his school 'Hong Kong style', and regularly travels to Hong Kong to train under Sigung Chu Shong Tin (3-4 times per year.)
Date: Saturday December 7th 9:30am to 11:00am
Cost: $30 ($20 for students on unlimited rates)
This will be a shorter, focused workshop dealing with the internal side of wing chun, primarily focussing on 'Hong Kong style' training, particularly stance and chi sau
Please note the 11:00am to 12:30pm class will run as usual. It is highly recommended (but optional) that you stay for this session to work on everything covered during the workshop to reinforce it and help it to "stick" while the experience is still fresh.
